Any open Neovest window may be saved in a Neovest layout. A Neovest layout is a named and saved file containing one or more Neovest windows that have been opened and arranged on the screen.

Once a group of Neovest windows have been opened, arranged, and saved in a layout configuration, the layout may be opened at a later time using its assigned hotkey, or it may be accessed via the main menu. The Layouts menu also provides edit, delete, and import/export layout features. Additionally, Neovest lets traders assign a preload layout configuration, which shortens the time it takes to load the layout on screen.

Neovest performs an automatic logout of all its users each night. If traders have one or more Neovest windows open and arranged on at the time of Neovest's nightly automatic logout, then Neovest will automatically save that configuration in a layout titled "Shutdown," which can be re-called on start-up.
