The following instructions explain how you may successfully download and merge daily data into your FirstAlert Standalone program.

• Go to www.neovest.com.
  
  
• Click on Training & Support on the main menu.

• Click on FirstAlert under "Training & Support" on the main menu.
  
  
• Once the "FirstAlert" page appears, click on Downloads under the "FirstAlert Standalone" section.
  
  
• Once the "FirstAlert Standalone Downloads" page appears, click on Daily Data.
  
  
• Double-click on the date of the daily file that you wish to download. For example, if you click on "D040628.EXE," then you would be selecting the 28 June 2004 daily data file to download.
  
  
• Once the "File Download" box appears, click Save.
  
  
• Once the "Save As" box appears, select the location where your FirstAlert Standalone program is installed. Note: The default location where FirstAlert Standalone is normally installed is the "C:\" drive.
  
  
• Double-click on the "FA" folder.
  
  
• Click on Save.
  
  
• Once the selected daily data file is downloaded, click on Close.
  
  
• Double-click on "My Computer." Note: Your "My Computer" icon will be located either on your desktop or on your Start menu.
  
  
• Double-click on your "C:" drive.
  
  
• Double-click on the "FA" folder.
  
  
• Double-click on the "BIN" folder.
  
  
• Double-click on the downloaded file(s). For example, double-click on the "D040628.EXE" file.
  
  
• In your FirstAlert Standalone program, select File | Import and Export, and click on Merge Binary File(s).
  
  
• Highlight the daily data files that you have downloaded.
  
  
• Click on Do Merge. Note: Keep in mind that this operation may take a considerable amount of time and will result in you not being able to use your FirstAlert Standalone program until the daily data download operation is complete.
