The following instructions explain how you may successfully download a new Masterlist for FirstAlert.

Warning!: If you choose to download a new Masterlist, your existing portfolio will be deleted and will be replaced with a new portfolio. Furthermore, any alert values that you have set will also be deleted. If you wish to save your alert values before recreating your portfolio, please contact Neovest's Account Services at (801) 375-6850 for assistance.

• Exit the FirstAlert program.
  
  
• Go to www.neovest.com.
  
  
• Click on Training & Support on the main menu.

• Click on FirstAlert under "Training & Support" on the main menu.
  
  
• Once the "FirstAlert" page appears, click on Downloads.

• Once the "FirstAlert Downloads" page appears, click on Masterlist.
  
  
• Once the "File Download" box appears, click Save.
  
  
• Once the "Save As" box appears, select the location where you wish FirstAlert's Masterlist to be downloaded. Note: The default location for downloading the Masterlist is the "C:\Program Files\Neovest" folder. We recommend that you download the Masterlist to this folder.
  
  
• Click Save.
  
  
• Once the Masterlist is downloaded, go to the Start menu.
  
  
• Click on Run.
  
  
• Type "cmd," and click OK.
  
  
• Once the command prompt box appears, type "cd\", and press the Enter key to go to the root drive, which should be "C:\>".
  
  
• At the "C:\>" prompt, type "cd program files", and press the Enter key.
  
  
• At the "C:\Program Files>" prompt, type "cd neovest", and press the Enter key.
  
  
• At the "C:\Program Files\Neovest>" prompt, type "dir *.zip", and press the Enter key. Note: At this point, the command prompt box should display the Masterlist file ("MasterList.zip") that you just downloaded.
  
  
• At the "C:\Program Files\Neovest>" prompt, type "pkzip25 -dir -ext -over masterlist.zip", and press the Enter key.
  
  
• Once the file is unzipped, type "exit", and press the Enter key.
  
  
• Open your FirstAlert program.
  
  
• In your FirstAlert program, select File | Portfolio Specifications.
  
  
• Click on Create Portfolio Now.
  
  
• Click on Yes.
  
  
• Once your portfolio is recreated, open your FirstAlert program.
