Filtering
Providing a comprehensive list of over 430 pre-configured yet
customizable filters, Neovest’s analytics support both
short- and long-term trading strategies. Designed to precisely
analyze prices and volumes, compare moving averages, detect intraday
movers, and recognize breakout patterns and trends, Neovest’s
advanced filters give traders an enhanced perspective on the
entire market via specific and customizable criteria. In addition
to its extensive preset filtering options, Neovest enables its
clients to create complex investment strategies by combining
multiple filters and assigning customized weights to each filter.
Reverse Filtering
Whereas each Neovest filter is designed to locate
symbols that meet certain criteria, Neovest’s reverse filtering
technology is designed to identify filter criteria that correspond
to a specific symbol. By tracking a specific security against
Neovest’s
set of filters, traders can better understand the technical dynamics
of the security and ultimately make better informed trading decisions.
Charting
Whether traders wish to view symbol data in tick,
intraday, daily, weekly, or monthly charts, Neovest provides
a variety of adjustable parameters, customizable technical indicators,
detailed symbol overlays, multiple display panes, and unique
data manipulation tools to enable traders to make informed trading
decisions.
Each chart is updated on a real-time, tick-by-tick basis,
which gives investors the ability to view precise market movements
as they occur. Neovest also allows traders to draw and manipulate
advanced trend lines, including extended and Fibonacci, on any
type of chart. Neovest’s database of historical data contains
more than fifteen years of daily data and up to one year of intraday
data. To ensure tick-by-tick accuracy, Neovest utilizes automatic
algorithms to scan its data, correct bad ticks, and filter invalid
trades, including exchange-transmitted corrections. QuoteWatch
Neovest’s QuoteWatch window provides traders
with the ability to create an unlimited number of custom groups
of symbols using over 90 unique data display fields. The QuoteWatch
window also allows traders to rank their groups according to
their own criteria and to utilize Neovest’s filtering and
screening technology to organize and filter their QuoteWatch
lists.
Alerts
Neovest lets traders set basic real-time price, volume,
and block size alerts on individual symbols. Neovest also provides
a variety of custom alert criteria that traders may use to set
percent change, moving average, fundamental data, and other types
of alerts on individual symbols. In addition, Neovest lets traders
assign order actions to basic and custom alerts, which allows
traders to automatically create and send orders on symbols on
which basic and custom alerts are triggered. Traders may choose whether
or not to be notified via a pop-up box and an audible sound alert
once a basic or custom alert is triggered. Furthermore, Neovest
provides an Alert Log that is designed to continually record triggered
alerts during each trading day.
News
Neovest’s news window provides up-to-the-minute symbol
news headlines and stories from a variety of news sources including
Dow Jones, COMTEX, Wall Street Source, S&P, and more. Traders
may choose between viewing the very latest news on a variety
of symbols or viewing recent news on specific symbols.
